    Abstract
    Sculpture A sculpture depicting President Abraham Lincoln speaking to John Hayes, who is seated before him and holds a writing utensil and a book in his right hand. It is a replica of the statue of Lincoln and Hayes just outside of the Clausen Center. On the surface on which the figures rest upon, are the words: "Faith," "Courage" and "Imagination." Also on the surface is a small plaque that reads: "William ('41) and Doris Niemann In Appreciation Carthage College May 19, 2006."
