Effective Implementation and Use of Dramatic Classroom Simulations: A Guide for Teachers
MetadataShow full item record
The purpose of the project was to investigate the use and effectiveness of drama-based simulations in the classroom setting. Dramatic classroom simulation is an instructional tool that, among other things, links students' feelings and actions to the lesson with the aim of increased understanding, motivation, and connectedness. The investigation led to the creation of a succinct teaching guide for teachers who wish to incorporate dramatic simulations within their lessons. Desired academic and social aims for dramatic simulations were addressed in the guide, along with classroom examples and templates to aid in the process of designing and implementing lessons with dramatic classroom simulations in mind.
