MetadataShow full item record
The purpose of this study was to create resources for teachers of Spanish as a second language. This study presents a practical application of the theories of input-output structured activities to the teaching of the Spanish language from an interdisciplinary and interactive perspective. Theater becomes the tool through which language and culture are explained. All the activities and materials necessary for classroom implementation have been compiled on a web page. The web site will serve as a resource -a place of technical support - for teachers of Spanish as Second or Foreign Language. On the web site, teachers will find a clear and concise explanation ofthe theories of input-output, a description of the project as a whole, a list of the objectives the project seeks to achieve and a series of activities that analyze a play using structured input-output theories, as well as some complementary activities and projects. It also includes all the materials that the teachers will need for the different activities, including the quizzes and rubrics that go with the projects. The project will serve as a template that can be replicated by interested educators.
