The Child's Journey

Abstract

My chap book as a whole is about growing up, changing, facing new challenges, and trying to understand/live in the world that is around us. I wrote almost all of these poems in junior high and high school, which is why I think they best represent the ideas that I am trying to express. I wrote them at a time when I was actually going through these things. I wanted my poems to be about each person finding his own identity, and destiny as well as his goals for the future.
