A Study of the Effects of a School Wide Management Plan on Student Infractions and Referrals
MetadataShow full item record
This is a descriptive analysis of data to determine the effects of a common, school wide management plan on the number of disciplinary infraction and referral forms issued. The effects of a school wide management program were determined by a change in the total number of infractions and referrals issued to students before the implementation of the school wide management plan compared to those issued after the implementation. Other effects of the program were determined by a change in the number of infractions and referrals for the severity of the specific behaviors. The results indicate that a decrease occurred in the total number of referrals and infractions the administration received after the implementation of the school wide plan. A change was also observed in the severity of the behaviors requiring discipline requests.
