The purpose of this thesis was to create a teaching guide that teachers can use to assist them when teaching multiplication and division to third grade students by incorporating Multiple Intelligences Theory. Much of the literature on how students learn multiplication and division and Multiple Intelligences Theory was read and reviewed in order to create a resource guide containing significant information. The teaching guide is intended for third grade teachers teaching multiplication and division facts. However, any teacher who teaches multiplication and division may benefit from the guide. It should be used to teach and nurture the intelligences of children who will one day be the leaders of tomorrow.
