    Abstract
    This project demonstrated how the integration of multicultural literature in the classroom helps primary and elementary students to develop the intercultural communicative competence. The purpose of this project was to suggest some multicultural books and create some lesson plans in order to teach the students the importance of dealing with cultural content and enable them to develop their Intercultural Communicative Competence (ICC).
