Sexual Assault Patterns in the State of Wisconsin

This study identifies correlational relations in 13 years (1985 - 1997) of sexual assault data drawn from the State of Wisconsin, Racine, and Kenosha Counties. Data from 1994 to the present indicates significant decline in sexual assaults in all areas. These data are from official sources used by state and county agencies. No statistics on unreported cases are available. Results indicate a substantial decline in sexual assaults in Wis<.:onsin and Southeastern Wisconsin since 1993. Interestingly, no study has identified the sexual assault assailants. No data indicated when or \vhy sexual assaults occur. Graphical analysis depicts data summarized with Pearson L correlations between data for the State of Wisconsin and Kenosha and Racine Counties.
