Film and Literature: The Value of Literary Adaptations as a Classroom Instrument
MetadataShow full item record
This master's thesis is based on the notion that teachers have not yet explored the full range of possibilities of using films in the classroom. Especially in literature classes, the complex "symbiosis" between literary originals and their cinematic adaptations often leaves teachers helpless because they are not sure to what extent film adaptations can be pedagogically important. The last chapter of this thesis offers various ways to use films sensibly and profitably in class, in combination with literary works.
