4cr This survey course introduces students to the major playwrights and movements in the European theatre from 1650-1850, from the beginning of the English restoration until the rise of Romanticism. Coursework will include both practical applications and written evaluations of play texts and theatre productions. Prerequisite: Junior or senior standing
