This project-based course introduces computational methods and tools used to analyze data in 21st century physics research and engineering. Effective data visualization and fitting techniques, statistical measures of data quality, multivariable dependencies, Monte Carlo methods, and quantitative signal and image processing are among typical topics of the course. This course will use the Python computer language and Jupyter Notebook environment commonly employed in physics research and data science communities.
