This course examines how technology informs both what we read and how we read it in our particular moment and through the particular lens of the digital humanities. Readings will include literature that thematizes new forms, literature in new forms, and theoretical writings that help us to understand the evolution of reading and interpretation. We will also experiment with the tools and techniques of digital humanities from textual analysis to topic mapping.
