This course examines respiration, phonation, resonance, and articulation in speech and song as well as pedagogical strategies for working with voices of various age levels and experiences. Students will explore practical approaches to evaluating voices and remedying inefficiencies in voice production. Students will develop a familiarity with traditional and modern writings in voice pedagogy, and utilize this research in applied voice settings. This course will include the use of technology in pedagogical settings.
