Recycling has become popularized over the past 30 years, thanks to a barge full of waste that tried to find a place to deposit it. With the increasing amount of plastics that are being found in the oceans as well as China´s new policy on the recyclables that they are importing, the United States needs to re-analyze their recycling system. This will be done in this paper by examining the cost of recycling while also looking at how other countries are recycling and if there are any methods that we can adopt into the United States recycling system.en_US
