The Kilauea volcano in Hawaii that is located in the Volcano National Park, has been in a constant state of eruption for the past 28 years This research investigates the impact this volcano has on various nearby districts and towns within its vicinity. Observing the correlations between the distance to the volcano, and how that affects the town’s population count, as well as property value. Also, the elevation of the town’s in regards to the volcano if that also has an effect, as well as the volcanic slope and lava flow hazards.
